1.1  Praktiki Ltd ("Praktiki", "we", "us", or "our") is a medical education company registered in England. By accessing the Praktiki website and app ("Site") and services ("Services"), you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

1.2  If you register as a user of Praktiki, a contract between you and Praktiki Ltd incorporating these Terms and Conditions will come into effect. We reserve the right to refuse membership without providing a reason.

1.3  Praktiki reserves the right to add, modify, or discontinue any aspect of the Services or Site at any time without prior notice.

1.4  By using our Site and Services, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

1.5  Praktiki may update these Terms and Conditions or its Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will take effect upon publication on the Site or by notifying you via email. Continued use of the Site indicates acceptance of the updated terms.

2.1  We aim to provide access to the Site and Services 24/7. However, we may suspend access without prior notice for maintenance, security reasons, or in cases of suspected breaches of these Terms and Conditions.

2.2  To maintain security, Praktiki may require periodic password changes. If your password expires, you will need to reset it to regain access.

2.4  Praktiki reserves the right to introduce charges for certain Services. Users will receive at least 30 days' notice of any new charges or terms, with the option to cancel their membership before they take effect.

2.5  Inactive accounts may be deactivated after 90 days of inactivity. Users will be notified in advance to maintain account access.

2.6  We reserve the right to edit, remove, or archive any content posted on our Site, including user-generated content, without prior notice.

2.7  Praktiki may allow anonymous posts, however, this feature may be revoked if abused or required for legal or operational reasons.

2.8  Praktiki supports major browsers such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari. Users are responsible for maintaining an up-to-date browser for optimal functionality.

3.1  The Site and Services are for doctors and healthcare professionals only. By using them, you confirm you are authorized to agree to these Terms and are not prohibited from accessing the Site or Services.

3.2  The information and tools provided are for educational purposes only and are not intended to diagnose, recommend therapies, or replace professional clinical judgment.

3.3  You agree not to use the Site or Services to establish healthcare professional/patient relationships, diagnose, or treat users. You are responsible for evaluating and using any information from the Site in your professional decisions.

3.4  You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws and professional standards in your practice of medicine or health profession.

3.5  You are responsible for ensuring compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction when using the Site, Services, or Praktiki content. We make no guarantees about legal compliance in your region and may limit access to the Site or Services at our sole discretion.

4.1  You must register an account with Praktiki to access all of the Services or Site.

4.2  Registration requires you to provide us with your name, email address, profession, specialty, and other information specified in the registration form ("Registration Information"), and to select a username and password that will be associated with your account.

4.3  You agree that your Registration Information is true, accurate, current, and complete, and you will promptly update your Registration Information as necessary so that it continues to be true, accurate, current, and complete.

4.4  We may attempt to verify the accuracy of the Registration Information that you have provided and update it as necessary.

4.5  You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your Praktiki account username and password and you may not permit another person to use your username and password to access the Services or Site.

4.6  You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe that the security of your account information has been compromised, you should immediately change your username and password through the account settings feature or notify us and we will assist you. We shall have no liability for any unauthorized access to or use of your account information.

5.1  The content on the Site, including text, images, and software, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

5.2  You may use content from the Site for personal and non-commercial purposes only. Republishing, distributing, or exploiting content requires written permission from Praktiki.

5.3  By submitting content to the Site, you grant Praktiki a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute your content.

6.1  Praktiki may include links to third-party websites or services for informational purposes. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these third parties.

6.2  Any transactions or interactions with third-party services are solely between you and the respective third party. Praktiki is not liable for any issues arising from such engagements.

7.4  Our liability is limited to the greater of £1 or the total amount you have paid to Praktiki in the preceding 12 months.

8.2  Praktiki reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms and Conditions or if you fail to meet membership criteria.

9.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

9.2  If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

10.1 This privacy policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.
